HID Conversion Kits might be illegal in some states and are sold for off road or show use only. Check with your local BMV for more information.
Helpful Information and Installation Tips:
Do not touch the HID bulb. If you do touch the bulb during installation, clean with alcohol.
Do not look directly into the bulb when it is turned on as it may cause permanent damage to your eyes.
Headlights must be properly adjusted after installation. HID bulbs are much brighter than halogen bulbs. By not adjusting your headlights, you may reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic due to glare. If you do not know how to adjust your headlights, please consult a professional.
Do not drop or apply inappropriate/unnecessary force to your HID components as doing so may cause damage to them. If any damage is discovered, discontinue use and contact your retailer. Do not use the system until the problem is solved, in order to avoid possible electric-shock or fire.
The HID system generates 23000volts when activated. Do not use wet or oily hands when installing or inspecting the system. Or you may be subjected to severe burns or electric-shock.
Make sure all connectors and wires are secured and away from any hot surfaces. Wires that are loose or resting against a hot surface may cause electrical hazards.
Do not turn on the bulb near flammable material when it is outside of headlight housing.
Do not turn lights on/off rapidly. Doing so may reduce the lifespan of your bulbs.
Do not install HID system in any housing with cracks. Moister may damage the bulb or cause electric-shock.
Before final installation pre-test all the components. Ensure compatibility by plugging in all the wires and turning the system on.
Note: Special adapters, connectors, modules or harness may be needed to correctly install the HID system on some vehicles. Make sure you have everything needed for your vehicle. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Dodge/Chrysler and Volkswagen are only a few that may need special installation materials.
Single Beam Installation Instructions:
Verify that the HID Conversion Kit you received have all the component needed for the installation (A list of component available below)
Disconnect the car battery.
Remove the factory light bulbs. If your vehicle's headlights have dust caps, please remove them as well.
If your vehicle is equipped with headlight dust caps, drill a 1"(24mm) hole to accommodate the wiring harness.
Remove the xenon HID bulb from the protective casing. Be careful NOT to touch the bulb. Handle it by its plastic base. If any grease or dirt gets on the bulb wipe clean with rubbing alcohol.
Put the bulb's wiring harness through the dust cap (as illustrated).
Insert the xenon HID bulb into your headlight and secure it.
Connect the spade terminals (positive & negative) to the factory headlight wiring harness.
Insert the rubber boot (on the wiring harness) through the hole on the dust cap (which you drilled earlier).
Connect the bulb to the ballast. The quick release will "click" once fully secured.
Find a mounting location for the ballast. Use the ballast bracket, screws or zip-ties as needed. Note: Do not drill holes on the ballast box, mount away from moving components and mount to a secure location.
Check your vehicle's headlight fuse. Make sure it is rated at 20amps or higher. Replace the fuse with a 20amp fuse if your headlight fuse is of a lower rating.
Reconnect the battery cables.
Turn light switch on and allow your new xenon light to run for 10 minutes.

Adjusting Your Low Beam Headlight:
Park on a level surface 20 feet behind another car and turn on your low beam headlights.
Make sure the cut-off of the beam is just above the bumper of the car in front. (Please refer to the image below)
To make sure the two headlights are even adjusted, please turn on the headlights directly against a flat wall 20 feet away and adjust lights until the cut-offs of two headlight line up.
Troubleshooting:
Flickering during pre-test or bulb out warning: Some vehicles measure the resistance of the bulb connecting into the factory socket. Since the Xenon ballast does not use any resistance when lighting the bulbs, the vehicles computer thinks there is something wrong, when there really is not. It will then begin to flicker the HID kit and may display a bulb out warning. To remedy this, an automotive HID bulb out resistor must be used, or a bulb out warning module.
